Took me awhile to find this. I love it .I have always been a HUGE Jean Grey fan and in a time where Marvel is ramming Emma Frost down everybodys throat this is just what the doctor ordered. It goes into Jeans early years before she started going out with the X-Men to fight the bad guys. It gets into her training as well. Awesome art by Mayhew. It left me wanting more and it left room for more. My only gripe is it was a one-shot.
REALLY GOOD
Hardcover book was all bent up when it arrived
This is a decent compilation of origin stories. I do like that they collected these, printed on glossy paper & bound these stories in a hard cover book.
What I do not like is the grouping of characters they included in the book. It would have been nice to have them collected & have built the stories as the students were recruited.
The description shows like 190 pages, It's only 31. That's kind of a bummer, still good comic I just hoped for more
