"If God was a Woman" is such a lovely book, filled with so many nurturing, insightful and nourishing words, suggestions, images and ideas. Each "chapter" offers such love, kindness and warmth. I feel nourished, inspired and soothed each time I read a little part and carry that nourishment with me throughout the day. I highly recommend this book....reading and savoring each little part and carrying Joss' offering of a deep sense of warmth, love and appreciation along with you.
I very much enjoyed this book. I loved every single chapter. It is well past time to end the patriarchy. God is most definitely A woman in my opinion. Creation is ultimately bound to women and it's time for resurgence of feminism across the globe.

Great book
This is such an amazing,beautiful book!!!! I could read it a thousand times and never get tired of reading it.
From the first page I've felt the healing words just pour into my mind, my heart and my Soul. There are so many Goddesses we can bow to, draw on for whatever specific strength or lesson they offer, but to just cut away all of the labels and specifics, and just get down to the little girl who grew up raised a Southern Baptist... it's been challenging to imagine these Goddesses as "THE God". If God Was A Woman is like a flower opening more and more as the pages turn, and helping me find a TRUE and deeper conception of God's Love... as a Woman... which for me feels so real, so pure, so soft, so nurturing, and I am SO thankful. Much gratitude! Love and Light.
I have only written 1 other book review - at least since my days spent in a 1 room school house back in the 'DARK AGES' so please bare with me.
I read 'If God Was A Woman' by Joss Burnel twice. The first reading I treated as a poetry reading and enjoyed it very much - this woman is a talented writer. Like with everything I read I copied quotes that rang a bell within me while I was reading.
When I'd finished I went back over my notes and quotes and realized how much of her writing said exactly as I felt about my Goddess so I started over.

You know, SHE would whisper you know what changes the world what heals the world and it is time to wake up"
This book has touched me on so many levels and I would highly recammend it to anyone who is in search of a deeper relationship with the feminine aspect of Divine Love or just themselves.
